We have all heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I wholeheartedly agree! The first thing you eat in the morning is what matters the most. I try to enjoy a hearty breakfast whether that be free-range eggs with loads of leafy greens or something a little on the sweeter side that will not spike insulin levels. I would call this smoothie something along the lines of "lean, green, smoothie machine" or something BUT it is actually a pretty hearty smoothie.

It is also packed with tons of healthy fats, micronutrients, and flavor! You can adjust the ingredients however you like but this is my take on a healthy green smoothie! It has the perfect balance of all three macronutrients!

Avocado Coconut Smoothie
Half Organic Avocado
1 1/2 C. Non-Dairy Milk - We like Almond
2 C. Organic Spinach or Arugula
3 Tbsp. Coconut Cream Or 1 C. Coconut Milk
2 Scoops Collagen Peptides
2 Tbsp. Cacao Powder
Monkfruit Extract or Meal Replacer to taste
2 Drops Peppermint Essential Oil or Fresh Mint Leaves
Put all the ingredients in your blender and blend it all together. Serve immediately, I personally love it chilled.
